Betty Ann (Franz) Mattz went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January the 11th, 2014. Betty was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on September 26, 1928 to Ernest and Margret Franz. Betty eventually moved to Lafayette, Indiana where she grew up on the family farm with her 15 brothers and sisters. In 1955, Betty graduated from nursing school. In 1964, Betty and her sister Sandy drove from Indiana to California in her brother’s Nash rambler.
